Time after time

By Posted on 0 No tags 1

This world keeps stealing me of the most precious thing I have, my time.
Each time you make me wait by coming 15-20 minutes late you are stealing my time. Each time you take 45 minutes to adjust your projector, you are stealing my time. Each time you repeat the same old joke you have been telling for the last 7 years, you are stealing my time. Each time you make¬†me trust you and betray my trust, you are stealing my life. Each time you give me less than I deserve because of your greed or your incompetence and mediocrity, you are stealing my time. Each time I have to listen to the intricate details of the mundane happenings in your life, you are stealing my time. Each time you try to tie me to your own political, economic or religious agenda, you are stealing my time. Each time I have to be witness to your stupid excitement about some nonsense when I put on the radio or switch on TV, you are stealing my time…
These are times I wish I could spend reading a book, watching a movie, traveling countries, enjoying with my family. Probably more than stealing someone’s stuffs, stealing someone’s time should have been a crime punishable by law. Because hours after hours, days after days, years after years, you are stealing my time and by so doing you are stealing me of my life.
